The material is difficult to tame. It has only just put up with a manageable boundary, but in the underground it still seems to be seething and the view may only fall on a cold surface that has just solidified. The association with volcanic processes and their tough primary slag has long since set in and can no longer be dispelled so quickly. Something dangerous clings to these energy fields. Watch out – you could injure yourself on the sharp points and ridges! The stubborn mass sorts itself through initially anarchic-looking structures whose appearance is also modeled by the light and partially gives the heavy surge an almost unreal lightness. Gravity has been overcome, the danger threshold drops. A silky sheen that collects at culmination points is already over the whole thing. Black? The longing, which has been present from the very beginning, to give the objects a little bit of calm, even order, with a real, well-founded color classification, is already beginning to falter here. The color works. If that’s black then it’s fanned out into a whole palette of gray and charcoal through to the silver highlights.
