Carmen Hiller’s art is reminiscent of something organic, very natural, alive. Everything seems to be connected in a mysterious way – perhaps like trees and mushrooms via invisible, far-reaching and densely interwoven connections. The connections are created by various self-developed basic forms, on which the compositions of her pictures are based and which are repeatedly varied, filled and questioned in her paintings. This canon of forms can certainly be described as Carmen Hillers’ artistic DNA.
