Carmen Hiller’s art is reminiscent of something organic, very natural, alive. Everything seems to be mysteriously connected – perhaps like trees and mushrooms via invisible, far-reaching, and densely interwoven pathways. The connections are created by various basic forms developed by the artist herself, on which the compositions of her paintings are based and which are repeatedly varied, filled, and explored in her paintings. This canon of forms can certainly be described as Carmen Hillers’ artistic DNA.
