Rita Ernst / Galerie Nr.  1360s24

This painting was inspired by a timber-framed structure in the historic monastery of Sankt Johann in Val Müstair, Graubünden. The work is characterised by converging lines and a light, highly spatial quality; it also marks a shift in direction in Rita Ernst’s artistic practice, a shift that continues to this day.
