How do we perceive colour? What happens when the colour of a picture changes continuously? How do picture colour and coloured light transform space? The artist, who lives in Witten, explores these and similar questions.
Susanne Stähli’s colour painting is not bound to any representational function, but aims at the realisation of colour in space. Through her rich spectrum of the finest tonal and brightness gradations, she unfolds an extraordinary luminosity and fascinating depth.
After several group exhibitions with us and a cabinet exhibition, we are now showing a large solo exhibition with works from 2025 from the “Tangram” series.
