Alan Ebnother was drawn to the art of Joseph Marioni and Phil Sims as a young painter. Both members of New York’s “Radical Painting Group,” whose common thread was the fascinating aesthetic of monochromatic canvas paintings and the detachment of color from the pictorial motifs.
Our exhibition now shows, some 20 years later, examples of Joseph Marioni’s painting and recent works by Alan Ebnother.
