A unique piece created from two existing 50 x 50 cm works. The right-hand section features the artist’s previous technique, in which a large amount of rather fluid paint was applied to canvas and “soaked in.” The other half of the painting consists of a layer of paint already built up on a wooden panel. The two parts are joined to form a single painting and were retouched along the seam. Initially, the works—including this one—were still a rather flat relief. It was first exhibited publicly in 2021.
Approx. 6 cm thick, 9 kg.
