The six artists who are the subject of this exhibition emphasize the autonomous character of their works. Autonomous in this context means: the works do not want to be anything outside of themselves. In order to better classify them in recent art history, one can make use of various adjectives and call them constructive, concrete, or conceptual, although the demarcation remains fuzzy with these terms. All works that could be sorted into these different subjects, however, have one thing in common:
