We showcase selected artists working in colour painting who take a different approach.
They expand the boundaries of this art form by using unusual painting materials
or supports, or by experimenting with new forms and textures.

Whether chiffon or lipstick served as ‘colour’, whether the brushstroke became the form of the picture, or whether the picture was ‘destroyed’ in a creative way, the selected works nevertheless exemplify ‘colour painting’ – expanded, exciting and surprising.
